Annemarie van Wezel, Principal Scientist at KWR, is appointed Special Professor of Water Quality and Human Health in the Faculty of Geosciences at Utrecht University (UU). The appointment further strengthens the scientific collaboration between UU and KWR in the field of “water and sustainability”.

Since the beginning of 2013, Principle Scientist Kees van Leeuwen has also been active at UU’s Faculty of Geosciences as a Special Professor on a part-time basis. Moreover, Van Leeuwen conducts research into sustainable urban water at the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development, where Van Wezel teaches as well.
