A new building for KWR
Selecting the building consortium
KWR awards the contract for its new building to the Aqua Redivivus building consortium, which consists of building contractors Van Wijnen Oost, along with Kuijpers en zonen (energy and water installations), Alkondor (façade) and Mourik (landscaping).
In June 2013, the contract is signed by CEO Wim van Vierssen of KWR and the other parties involved. The value of the contract is about € 13 million. The new office building will have a gross floor area of around 6,200 m2 and is to be built at the current location, next to the existing building, and set in natural surroundings. KWR’s operational management, which is in some aspects very sensitive to nuisance, has been fully assured in this regard. “The building consortium distinguishes itself mostly for its commitment to the project and grasp of KWR’s specifications”, says project leader Mireille Henst. “This should contribute to a successful project and to a beautiful, functional building.”
