WRI Seoul and KWR collaborate
Launch of Watershare® in South Korea has sequel
Following the launch of Watershare® in Busan in the autumn of 2012, Waterworks Research Institute (WRI) Seoul pays a visit to KWR to become better acquainted. One important item of discussion are the tools available in the Watershare® Suite, particularly those in the area of distribution and water quality.
The typical contours of a Korean city, because of the predominance of high-rises, differ from those of cities in the Netherlands. This opens up interesting possibilities for research and the further development of tools. What are the differences between a high-rise-apartment city and one characterised by low buildings and single-family homes? What effects does this have on water mains and water quality? In 2014, WRI Seoul and KWR will develop these questions into concrete research projects.
